Customized Facial

Relax and unwind with this deluxe facial designed to restore vital, healthy skin by improving its function.  This facial is customized to address your current skin type and skin condition(s) with the healing, corrective, and rejuvenating properties of my professional back bar facial products.  You will leave feeling pampered, renewed, and refreshed with visibly glowing, healthy skin.  Includes a skin consultation, skin analysis, cleansing, exfoliation, face massage, masque, serum, and moisturizer; all for your skin type.  Warm, steamed towels are included after every step.

Dermaplane glow FACIAL

Dermaplaning is a form of manual exfoliation.  An esthetician grade, sterile blade is stroked along the skin at a 45 degree angle to gently “skim off” dead skin cells from the epidermis.  It also temporarily removes the fine vellus hair of the face, leaving a very smooth surface.  The removal of dead skin cells allows home care products to be more effective, reduces the appearance of fine lines, evens skin tone, and assists in reducing milia, closed and open comedones, and minor breakouts associated with congested pores.  Don’t worry, your hair won’t grow back thicker, I promise!  There is no down time. Includes a skin analysis, double cleanse, prep with AHA/BHA solution, dermaplane, enzyme treatment, extractions if needed, nourishing toner, a stem cell and peptide masque, and finishing products. Warm steamed are towels included after every step.

Contraindications: Although it is impossible to list every potential risk and complication, but the following conditions are recognized as contraindications for a Dermaplaning treatment. Pregnancy, rosacea, active acne, active infection of any sort, such as herpes simples, raised lesions, a recent chemical peel, chemotherapy, radiation, eczema, dermatitis, keloid scaring, hemophilia, oral blood thinning medications, recent use of glycolic acids alpha-hydroxy acids, and/or Retin-A, scleroderma, skin cancer, sunburn, uncontrolled diabetes, vascular lesions, use of Accutane within 1 year.

20% LACTIC LIGHTENING PEEL: Exfoliates, softens, hydrates, and lightens

Lactic acid is a milk-based ingredient that is great for hydrating and exfoliating the skin in a gentle manner. It is an alpha-hydroxy acid working as an exfoliant, which allows dead skin cells to slough off and make room for regrowth of new skin. It improves roughness, softens skin, and improves the appearance of wrinkles. This peel also includes 2 superb lighteners: 5% alpha-arbutin from the bearberry plant; is a non-irritating skin brightener. It is a natural alternative to hydroquinone. Also, 3% kojic acid which inhibits melanin production (hyperpigmentation). It provides gradual and continual skin brightening to relieve skin discolorations. Tingle factor: 2

Good For: Normal to dry, sun damaged skin, melasma. This is a gentle peel and you may experience microscopic or mild flaking for 3-4 days.

30% GLYCOLIC PEEL: Desquamates skin cells, Exfoliates, Softens, Reduces keratinization, Treats mild to moderate acne, and Minimizes pore size

The 30% Glycolic Peel is an excellent cell renewal peel. Glycolic Acid weakens desmosomes (the proteins that hold on dead skin cells), allowing the dead skin cells to release to reveal healthier, smoother, brighter looking skin. Witch Hazel is a flowering plant; it is a strong antioxidant and astringent that is often used as a natural remedy for psoriasis, eczema, and other skin conditions. Fructooligosaccharides (D-beta) are naturally occurring carbohydrates derived from cane or beet sugar. This ingredient promotes growth of healthy probiotic bacteria to strengthen skin immunity. Tingle factor: 3

Microdermabrasion

This customized microdermabrasion treatment is safe for any skin type.  Immediate results with noticeable improvements to the skin texture and appearance are seen.  Diamond tips are slowly passed across the skin’s surface which painlessly lifts off the outermost damaged layers of the skin revealing healthy skin beneath.  There is no downtime and each step delivers increased skin correction.  Includes warm steam towels, double cleanse, masque, toner, and moisturizer; all suited for your skin type.

Not good for active acne lesions.

Skin Classic Resurfacing

Cutting edge, high frequency technology treats skin irregularities without a laser or scalpel!  Discomfort is minimal and immediate results are seen...no waiting and hoping!  A small tip is barely touched to the skin which vaporizes and dries the affected area creating very small crusts that heal and flake off in 7 to 21 days and generally requires only one treatment. The tip never enters the skin!  You will be given home care instructions post treatment.  Skin anomalies treated:  Broken Capillaries, Skin Tags, Flat Brown Sun Spots, Sebaceous Hyperplasia, Acne, Pimples, Blackheads, Fibromas, and Milia.
